Grandma's 85th!

Went to Wichita for grandmas 85th birthday this weekend, we had a blast seeing family that we hadn't seen in years. It was really nice to get to see pretty much the whole family together again. We had the party over at Kurt's tournament building and he had it all decked out and posted many pictures from long ago up on a projector for all to view. There were many new photos taken so check back here soon and I'll try to get them up on the site. It was my first time back there since dad passed away so that was somewhat difficult but I forced myself to go to the graveside anyway. After walking most of the grounds I had to go into the office to find out where he was laid to rest. It was really weird to see the headstone, since it has my name on it...But I cleaned it off and took a picture anyway.

I'll remember you

I'll remember Haysville, the house, the long trips, the lake, the camping trailers, the reunions, your dogs, the big tree out back in the chain link fenced yard with the big red and black ants, the cabin at the lake, the look on my daughters face the first time you introduced her to your new puppy. I remember her, your wife, my aunt, taken from us via the cancer as my father was and I'll remember you too Uncle Darrell now that your gone...god bless...
